Bespoke financial planning with a focus on your goals rather than financial products.

For those wanting to know when they can retire and what their lives will look like.

For those wanting to optimise their retirement lifestyle and income.

For those needing help navigating the complex aged care system.

Commenced in 2024 by director/financial planner Lennon Matthews-Rowell, LMR & Co has been helping Australian’s plan for their retirement and have peace of mind that their money will last. We apply a holistic approach to your financial situation, ensuring that all elements are working efficiently and in your best interest.

To be a leader in the financial industry, bettering the lives of Australians through bespoke advice.

To improve the lives of our clients by providing them with the best financial advice available.
To advocate for and provide increased financial literacy for all Australians.

Superannuation is the first building block for retirement in Australia. It is a tax-friendly environment to help Australian’s save for their retirement. Not only does it provide tax concessions when making contributions, but there are also ongoing discounts for the life of the investment.
We work with most superannuation products to ensure your nest egg grows in a way that suits you. From help with underlying investments, to how much growing your balance we provide comprehensive advice.

Pension is the next phase of superannuation, with no tax payable on growth or earnings. This tax-free environment also pays regular amounts to you, so you can fund your ongoing retirement.
We work with most pension funds and can develop strategies to maximise the amount you have invested in this tax-free environment.

Whether you are investing for your future or for the short term, it is important to ensure you have the optimal strategy in place. The number of investment options and structures are nearly unlimited.
We can assist with all levels of investing from determining your risk tolerance to creating diversified portfolios of asset classes.

The age pension is a means tested welfare payment available to Australians aged 67 and older. It is means tested, taking into account your income and assets. But how do you know if you’re eligible or if you’re being paid the right amount?
We not only conduct assessments for eligibility but also help with applications. We have our own Centrelink account which allows us to directly upload documents, saving you the hassle of having to go into an office.

Organising aged care for yourself or a loved one can be overwhelming, especially given the wide range of facilities and complex fee arrangements.
We can help you understand the aged care fees by offering you personalised financial strategies that consider your financial situation and goals. We have personal experience with our own family members who have entered care and have an understanding of how stressful this time of your life can be.

After working a full life, we have paid plenty of tax. The Australian government offers multiple options that incentivise particular investments though tax concessions. Whether it is money invested through superannuation/pension or ordinary structures, there are options available to most people to lower their ongoing tax liability.
We can advise you on your entire financial situation and how to ensure you are not paying more tax than you should be.
What does a financial planner do?
A financial planner takes responsibility for your entire financial situation and places you in the most optimal position. They will analyse your current situation and make recommendations based on tax minimisation, investment allocation, debt reduction, cashflow and Centrelink.
Our fees vary depending on the complexity of the advice given. We have an initial fee which is to cover the onboarding and initial research/strategy creation. We then have an ongoing monthly fee which covers ongoing maintenance and monitoring of your financial situation. Fees can often be deducted from your investments/superannuation and/or charged to your bank.
Do you charge for an initial consultation?
There is no charge for initial meetings. We only charge fees once both parties have agreed to the scope of advice.
Do you have any conflicts of interest?
We act in a fiduciary capacity, meaning that we must put your interests before our own. We do not receive remuneration or commissions from any products and only make recommendations based on your best interest.
